Well it was me, actually, who wanted to find where 'the music' was happening...didn't want to put anyone off!
Found a folk session in the Lamplighter bar in the Oakthorpe Hotel on Windermere...thanks Norman, Rachel and friends! Sorry, wasn't sure of anyone else's name!
I didn't know much not being a trad folkie but was nice to hear some live music and attempt an odd note or two to jam along even though I wasn't very successful!
Thanks to those who posted on here...apparently there is a session night goes on in a pub in Kendal, too, or was it Keswick...oops!...not sure, but think it was Thursdays. But....am home now so bit late for us...maybe next time!
