54 years ago at Muscle Beach in Santa Monica, California, some Italian men with instruments used to sing a song that forever sits in my memory. I am not Italian and I'm not sure of any of the words. The best I can do is to phonetically spell out the few sounds of what I heard. The men always started the song out by saying "Does your mother come from Italy."

Parts of it are like this: Hey gumba, mama mia mari da, hey gumba mama mia mari da.
