Long ago I got fascinated by the antics of the Borgia family in Renaissance Italy and read up on them a lot. I was under the impression that English politics was pretty bland, but it turns out that the English were no slouches in the skullduggery department.

Interesting period of history. "Intriquing," I guess one could say.
