Frankly, I doubt very much that the Shambling one has either. He's had a title changed - by expanding it - and he's had threads combined because of redundancy, he's had posts deleted because of having repeated them in numerous threads, but so far as I know, he has not been censored. One reason for my belief is that I got no indignant response from him when I said this once before.

Yes of course my dear Ebbie - a poster who has been posting for many years suddenly and for no reason starts to be concerned about his own and other posts being unfairly subject to imposed censorship and our forum being shaped by this. That explanation of course makes perfect sense.

And you can always pretend that something is not happening by changing the name. Thus genocide becomes ethnic cleansing etc.

And of course when an entire thread is deleted by some anonymous fellow poster along with all the posts from all its contributors - even the positive ones - it would be wrong for anyone upset at losing their post - for no good reason - to call this censorship.

By the same reasoning it would be wrong to call it murder if you were one of the victims of a terrorist attack. It is just that you were in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Some people seem to choose to have very short memories. If you don't accept my word for it - try reading the words of an edit button holder.
