In my usual pedantic fashion I've spent a couple of hour perusing the Shambles' posts from day one. As usual I've had some surprises.

The good surprise I had is that Roger is being consistent in his contentions- from the very first time he mentions it in 1998 he has been adamant that he wants NO censoring, no banning, no monitoring, or judging. I didn't realize that. So there's a point for you, Roger.

On the other hand, one of the bad surprises I had was his age. For some reason, I was under the impression that Roger Gall was elderly- in fact, it even occurred to me over the last few months that he might been suffering from senile dementia and was willing to cut him some slack on that supposition- hey, I hope that I am cut some slack.

Unfortunately, it isn't true. Mr. Gall is only in his early 50s. So the obsessive bullheadedness that makes him oblivious to what some other people are thinking and saying is his own responsibility, entirely.
