Around the same time as the above incident at Beverley, and acting as Grimsby Morris Men's PR, I was asked by Radio Humberside if they could come and record our team dancing at 8:00am on a Boxing Day morning - as publicity for our tour later that day. I explained that it wasn't really possible, the team would be in bed/getting up/getting ready/struggling with hangovers etc - but I'd come up with something. What they actually got was my wife and two other friends plus their dog with morris bells on them banging sticks and hopping about while I played melodeon.
