Ebbie that is why all the personal vendetta stuff on my part is such nonsense.

As a fellow poster I have always respected Joe Offer.

When I first started posting here Joe set a good example of posting that I was more than happy to follow and support as he then accepted - rather than battled with the realities of a discussion forum that was open to the public.

The problem came with the Chief of the Mudcat Editing Team who seemed to consider that the same objectives could be achieved by threats, public judgements of fellow posters and imposition rather than by example.

And the example then set was do as I say - not do as I do.

And then the idea that the imposition of constant changes could shape and order every aspect of our forum to his tastes. And now it would appear that any view posted that is not in agreement with his intentions - is an anti-Mudcat post.

Now that I read the Chief of the Mudcat Editing team's intention for our forum is to turn this section into members only and to restrict public posting to the music section - there is no going back from this point. He is welcome to do all of this - but he is not welcome by me to do this on our forum.

Is that is now viewed as an anti-Mudcat post?
