A view of my childhood home shows that the trees that my father lovingly planted have all been removed. All those old country songs I've been singing about going home and finding the old home place has been drastically altered (Sweet Sunny South, What Have They Done to the Old Home Place, Rank Strangers, etc) have now taken on a whole new meaning for me.
