Kristi - a word of warning about benefit shows. There is a Florida statute administered by the Dept of Agriculture which requires that such shows/events be registered. I think there's a charge of about $10, but there's a $100 penalty for failure to register. The statute is apparently not vigorously enforced, but its aim of preventing frauds is laudable. Just call the Commissioner's office in Tallahassee and the operator will direct your call. Good luck with your efforts.
