I'll assist....Squeezeboxhp is refering to : CURMUDGEONLY.
A "Curmudgeon" is a bad-tempered or miserly person [16th century.; origin unknown]. So curmudgeonly(correct spelling) (adj) is to act or behave in a bad-tempered or miserly way.
So "Curmudgeonlyness" [Not in Dictionary!] must me a local corruption to describe a spread or epidemic of such attitude or behaviour in a particular locale e.g a village or a particular group of people etc.
It's a good word in't it?
