The old adage about heat and kitchens is all that really has to be said but it does not fit into the Mudlogic, double standards and hypocrisy that it appears all posters must now be subject too and expected to accept as blindly as the rest.

Summed-up by the old saying that there are now different strokes for different folks. Where major indescretions will be excused for some and others will be encouraged to be publicly judged and castigated for the smallest of things.

The fact remains that their is NEVER any excuse for even one single abusive personal attack posted publicy by anyone on a fellow poster or for responding in kind. And if you NEVER resort to such things and set this example - their is nothing to be excused, be haunted by or even apologise for. BUT when setting this example is seen to be done more than once........

At the root of this is that some of those who feel themselves qualified to impose their judgement (often anonymously) on their fellow posters - do not feel that their actions should be judged in return and are entitled to publicly abuse any poster who they judge to be judging them.

A nice try but life is just not like that. If you can't stand the heat - there is no excuse for throwing pots and pans at the customers.
