Thread Name: Chord Req: My Old Man's A Dustman
Subject: RE: Chord Req: My Old Man's A Dustman
MY OLD MAN'S A DUSTMAN

       C       (b)    Am       D             G
Now, 'ere's a little story. To tell it is a must
C          (b)   Am       D                G
About an unsung hero that moves away your dust.
      Am            (c)      Am            (c)
Some people earn a fortune, others make a mint.
Am                (c)          D                   C
My old man don't earn much, in fact, he's flippin' skint.

Chorus

    C                                           G
Oh, my old man's a dustman, he wears a dustman's hat
                                                       C
He wears gor-blimey trousers and he lives in a council flat.
                                                    F
He looks a proper 'nana in 'is great big hobnailed boots
      G                                                         C
He's got such a job to pull them up that he calls 'em daisy(?) roots

    C                                        G
One day whilst in a hurry, he missed a lady's bin
                                     G7               C
He 'adn't gone but a few yards when she chased after him
                                                         C7
"What game do you think you're playing?" she cried right from the
F
heart.
      G                               G7             C
"You missed me! Am I too late?" "No, jump up on the cart!"

Is more or less the way I would do it - The (b) and (c) in the intro are Bass notes as a sort of passing run to the next chord .
Hope that makes sense , but no doubt some one will correct me on the chords !
