Just try getting into Canada with a DUI on your record, though. Terrorists? Fine, come on in. Drunk driver? F- you buddy!

I have a friend who received a DUI conviction at the age of 18 (back when that was the legal drinking age here in the states) and then flew into Canada at the age of 40 and was detained and forced to pay a $500 fine because of the 22 year old DUI conviction.

But then again, if we secured our own borders and let Canada do their own thing at the same time, we should be the ones filtering out the criminals from coming here...right?
