5. Being an artist I know that a camel hair brush is made of almost any hair, but camel... usually squirrel tail.

I use only good quality sable myself. Except for acrylics... then I use synthetics because acrylics wear brushes out quickly. A high quality sable brush for watercolour will last a lifetime. Hell, you might even pass it down to your grandkids.
