Ebbie - the more things change.... There are superficial differences between Old and New England but the attitudes and behaviour of the people is similar. There is a bit of a reserve here, although I have never been made to feel out of place at all.

Amos - I do love the country of my birth and, if it wasn't for Kendall, wouldn't be this side of the Pond. Doesn't stop me disliking what those in power are doing to the place, but that goes for here as well.

A very wise friend once said that it's not where you are it's who you're with that counts. I'd go along with that.
