My ancestors came here from England in 1635, so I guess the Limey influence is quite strong. We pretend to be polite, but deep down we are seething for being born in a poor state. We are so poor, the name of our state only has one syllable, and only one neighboring state.
A full 1/3 of it is bordered by New Brunswick CANADA. If not for that civilized neighbor we would be more like Massachusetts or New Jersey. Come to think of it, why am I complaining?
