I did this during the BSE scare in the UK. It is not Wholly original, the inspiration and most of the first verse came from Tommy Handley just after WW2.

There was an old farmer he had a mad cow,
Moo,Moo, Tickety -boo,
The milk came condensed in a can-
Can, neither can I,
Maria's the name on the can.
The bull his name was Dan,
And he was Maria's old man-
Man, fanakerpan,
Maria's the name on the can.

When this mad cow went out on the grass,
Grass,grass, it fell on it's ass,
It's brain was as soft as a flan-
Flan, so we had a plan,
We sold it to McDonalds man,
He sold it on a bun,
'cos that's what he does for his fun-
Fun, Diddley dun,
You can have it with fries on the side!

Needless to say, I don't eat burgers
