Yeah Sorcha, they are gun dogs and excellent hunters with the somewhat unique ability to course, point, and retrieve. But they have gained a lot of recognition in the past few years for their loving and docile nature. Bill Wegman's funny pictures and videos have become widely recognized by young and old. Most of us get attached to a breed and I'm obviously a Weimie lover.
