Please consider incorporating a set of counters on this website. I haven't got a clue what scale of use there is, or how many songs have been posted and I think oldpoetry.com does that kind of counting quite well.

I also wonder how many new songs have been created on this website? Some of them might even be keepers.

Certainly I've been able to link up with folks, via Mudcat, from all over the world who share some of my archane interests. That's a good thing for me since I seem to need a lot of support to do anything creative. I just can't get that level of support from the good folks in my home town.

Oh, and the next shanty sing at the Press Room in Portsmouth, NH, will be Saturday, May 20th. Be there or not!
