If by "certain entities" you mean the taxman,
(a) you're never guaranteed to be under their radar
(b) Max can easily demonstrate a loss, though having to do the bookkeeping would admittedly be a tedious extra chore (been there, done that, still doing it)

Amos and Little Hawk - for some reason your postings (anywhere in Mudcat, not necessarily this thread) stand out in my mind as some of the most inspiring and enjoyable snippets of human wisdom. Thank you, and I hope we get to meet sometime, though I can't imagine how.
