My husband is wondering the same. I know he is enjoying some self-instrux books he has which include CD's to illustrate the desired results. Perhaps the members of your group lesson could go in together to buy a video, and meet as a group separate from the teacher to use it, and then just enjoy some free play time with each other and share tips. Also another essential for all instruments seems to be to just find anyone to play with, who plays any instrument, and do whatever you are able to do together. It raises what you have learned to a whole different level, and so does playing with others who play the same instrument as you-- most players at every level are glad to share what they do, and to give you quick tips to go practice at home til next time.
