There is no point in setting numerical limits on posting, as all that will mean is the ego and mono maniacs stopping when they reach the limit set, and either continuing as a Guest, or starting again after 24 hrs have elapsed. Don't forget the Mudcat covers so many time zones so the crap will continue on a 24/7 basis whatever.
Along with others I also think that those who are so sure that their opinion is more important than anybody elses including the site owner, should depart forthwith.
It is not necessary to be foul mouthed or insulting to be thought of as a pain in the arse, monotonous or self opinionated postings can be just as alienating.
I think that to regain the lightness of touch, and the depth of knowledge, that Mudcat has been reknowned for, the people whom Max has suggested might do better for a break, should take that break, and take it soon.
