Couldn't agree more. Too bad it is just such people who are running the place.

It is very telling that the membership thinks the "best" thing that could happen here to bring Mudcat back to what it once was, a music site, is to lock it away from users by making it a private "membership only" club.

That just speaks volumes to what this place has truly become. A clubhouse for the regulars, with NO commitment to improving the music resource whatsoever. In fact, until I brought it up in this thread, "DT" hadn't even been mentioned by the members posting here. In fact, one rarely even ever sees a SINGLE POST about the need to salvage and begin the work of upgrading the DT and Mudcat music archive.

You are all too busy using the forum as your personal travel service and bulletin board for your gigs.
