Autolycus, what do you want to say a computer can never do (apart from break the laws of physics)?

If you are going to say anything that boils down to "be conscious like a human", you'd better start by saying what you think "conscious" means! I might well agree with you, if it doesn't invoke magic.

I can give you a short list.

As of now, computers can't:

- dance Strip the Widow and get it wrong.
- Enjoy 4 pints of Wadworth's 6X while blathering about history.
- worry.
- get aching feet because their boot laces are too tight.
- Try to show off and come out looking a charlie.

I'm sure there are a lot more things they can't do. Some might be possible with the next generation of hardware.
