If you are festivalling, do NOT go campervan, go cheap old (dry) caravan. You WILL want to drive off site to get more beer/cigarettes/gas/strings/condoms/etc when you run out and it is a royal pain to have to de-pitch to go and re-pitch when you get back. Driving a campervan all year will cost you an arm and a leg. Campervans are no quicker nor more stable than a decent sizeable car/small van combo.

Get a Volvo to tow with. Get the biggest wingmirrors you can.

Get a small van and strip out the top cupboards and put shelves a bit like bunk beds over the beds to put the guitars etc on when you arrive.

Shower and portapotti essential - many minifestivals have no useable showers, and it is a PIA to have to put on your trousers every time you want a night time piddle after a day drinking beer. Stove good - put vegetables meat and spices (and water and thickeners and spices) in crockpot in oven at 11 am - go to session - return at 6, food ready, eat with bread, and go out for the evening session.
