Mine has the screws, as did the old ESVs (my surviving ones date from the late 60s or and early 70s, they all have the screws). I didn't know about the pin versions, so I guess I was lucky to get the screw one. Is there a different model no. or something, to tell the pin and screw versions apart, sight unseen? I bought this one online so I didn't know in advance.
Btw, is there a website that has maintenance tips for harmonicas, advice on cleaning, replacing reeds, etc.?
