Sir Paul and the cripple girl:

ahhhh.. kind hearted saintly old Sir Paul befriends a poor little cripple girl
then sympathetically offers his hand in marriage and gives her half of all his fortune.

and in the fullness of time , a little baby arrives to bless their magic union..

But, unbeknownst to all, she is a black hearted witch
who tricks him

and chops the baby into little pieces and boils it up into broth
and feeds it to the unsuspecting children from Sir Pauls
first marriage to Princess Linda..

The vile broth poisons all who eat it..

then the evil cripple girl chops off a leg from the eldest child
and casts a spell to make that leg her own,
so she is now no longer crippled
and can run away with all the gold.

Sir Paul is broken hearted and throws himself down a dark deep well.
