John Cleese and Ricky Gervais are comedians/actors who portray comic characters. I find your comparison between laughing at them and laughing at a disabled woman who lost a leg in a road accident very poor.

But then again big sweaty fat people who gorge themselves stupid are slightly amusing. Any of the above posters agree?
