I've ben living here in Eugene for going on 5 years and I've reached the conclusion that the music scene is unfathomable. There's a lot happening all the time(although it's really hard to make a living at it music here)(where is it easy?). There's a lot of musicians competing for the disposable dollar, and they are like everywhere some good, some bad, some not worthy of notice. There's a little bit of everything ; reggae, old time, bluegrass, Irish, jazz, classical, world music, klezmer, you name it. Nice folks, mostly.
