Years ago, sometime in the 70's, I heard Margaret sing a song called Bird Rocks. I asked her for it and she graciously sent it to me with both the words and the music. I've sung it several times over the years. Last year at Old Songs Margaret told me that she had recently sung Bird Rocks in a concert. She then told me that while she was singing the song she thought of me. That really touched me and is something I will never forget. But that is the kind of person Margaret was. She was a treasure and my life is better for having known her.

My condolences to Margaret's family. Margaret, rest in peace. Say hello to Helen and all our other friends up there. Always keep singing. Thank you for the friendship and the songs.
