Doctor John: I don't know the story for certain, but my recollection is that whoever then owned the rights to the Leader/Trailer catalogue simply went bust, at which point the receivers would sell the assets - the stocks of vinyl, the rights, everything - to the highest bidder. Bill Leader would have no say in it. However I have an idea Bill had sold on the rights before then.

I imagine Pete Coe could confirm/correct this, as could Dick Gaughan.

And, to be fair, when Dave Bulmer bought up all this stuff no-one knew he was going to simply sit on it for ever!
