JennyG, what you don't manage to catch in Vancouver, you can find at the Jazzfest in Victoria which runs between between June 23 and July 2.

Also The Victoria Folkfest is running here during roughly the same timeframe from June 30- July 9. Folk Fest includes international music, dance, theatre, food village, craft market, world-class chefs and an ocean front beer garden at Ships Point in the Inner Harbour. Sadly, I don't think the tall ships are included this year.
