Ah, you're right, SRS; Sunday's heat was torturous for any human, no matter your family origins!

Alasdair Fraser ended up dumping Natalie Haas into the ice water trough at the end of the weekend, in some high spirited horse play back stage. The two of them were fully clothed and absolutely soaked to the skin. After a full day of roasting, it looked like a good idea!

BUT the music and the craic really were grand!

I'd love to see them change the date to a more suitable outdoor time ... but I don't suppose that will happen. I haven't seen the numbers yet - but there were fewer people in attendance this year. I'm sure they still hit 30,000 or so - but fewer then last year. I suspect the 100 degree heat on Sunday dampened a few spirits!

I hope you make it next year, though ...
