Just goes to show that nothing changes.

We may think that we are a more civilised society that we were 100 years ago but there are still the same amount of good/bad, kind/cruel, caring/selfish, people in this world than before.

Many are still more capable of selfish thought than of global compassion and see the lives of others as easily disposable.
