From what I've heard, the seller has taken his child-prodigy son to various fests over the years, introduced him to the best players he could find, convinced them to humor the kid by letting him play for them, and watched them be blown away by the kid's prowess. Strangely, Holoubek isn't listed on Bryce's "Links" page under luthiers, though the makers of his new mandolins are. Wonder why?

Anyway, I will let you know what I end up purchasing... but it may be a while!
