John: I appreciate your concern but don't follow your logic. Bobert has opinion but no logic- it's all a bunch of rich folks conspiring to rule the roost. As for affirmative action, it was never meant to be permanent, and has been legally challenged since the 70's in the instances where it results in people losing jobs, positions, student acceptances, and the like.

There are minorities who have done well without any kind of affirmative action. A very good case can be made for affirmative action being a curse rather than a help for those given favoritism. I think more and more people across the political spectrum are taking these arguments seriously.
