That heat didn't go away yet; you folks over at the festival really heated up the environment here!

Funny thing, yesterday I was on my way to Dallas on the local commuter train between Fort Worth and Dallas and a couple of fellows got in and we started talking. The older one I spoke with was visiting from his home in Tyler, but said he'd been here recently, at the Scottish festival at UTA. Small world. He is the guy who sold what sounds like a superior variety of custom root beer made by his family. With as hot as it was last week, I bet he made a killing on Sunday! Evidently his business consists of attending this kind of festival and shows just to sell root beer and it's subsidiary foods (floats, etc.).

Two reasons to go next year--to hear Jed again and try out some of that root beer!
