Its quite scary really, but my Autistic daughter said to me yesterday totally out of the blue

"Dad, I really am scared about dying and being in a black hole, where you can't see or hear or talk to anybody anymore. I don't want to be on my own"

Because we are not religious I really didn't have an answer for her.

If I had known about the ashes being used for trees concept, I could have said that she could become a tree in a forest and be able to see and hear the wildlife and talk to nature for the rest of her life.

I think she would accept and like that.
