The "beats tea" aspect of this appears a bit questionable on the basis of this research, since it doesn't seem to have included many tea-drinkers. And if it was carried out in California, as seems to have been the case, mightn't tea-drinkers out there be a bit atypical?
They need to repeat this research in some part of the world where drink and tea go hand in hand. I can think of a few.
