Well, Townes, as I said - Texas is funny. Hell, this state has
produced the current idiot in the White House AND Lyndon Johnson; it has also produced singers from Toby Keith to the Dixie Chicks and everyone in between like: Brave Combo, Bob Wills, Janis Joplin, Townes Van Zant, Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, Willie Nelson and on and on. They have really supported Gordon Lightfoot over the years and rally around Stan Rogers songs but don't know who James keelaghan is; and, to top it off, one of the largest folk festivals in the WORLD is right here in little 'ole Texas - a funny place, it is.
