Hi, Chris - I checked the Roud Index and the Traditional Ballad Index for "Greyhound," and came up with nothing that looked at all like your song. Can you post all the lyrics you have? It looks like an interesting song.
The closest I could find was Master McGrath which matches the meter of the lyrics you posted, but not the words.
