At the very least, one or the other of them might be able to point me toward another person with a piece of the puzzle. Before I write to any more people, I'll wait to hear what you discover.

Thanks, too, to Peace for the continuing help -- if Mr. Ryan's enquiry peters out, I'll drop a line at the SRSC site and see if I can scare up some help there. Another friend recommended I try the Ennis singers' circle, so that's a third line of inquiry.
