My son's girlfriend works for less than minimum wage (I don't know how they can legally do this) and is supposed to be compensated by her share of a tip jar on the counter once her "training" shifts are over. Those depending on a tip jar may be the most poorly paid by their employer. Take pity! She works in a high end gourmet pizza/pasta/sandwich company serving from behind a counter. I've encouraged her to look for another job.
