Can hope now be reborn, or will it fade
Without whisper from muse? Is there a chance
For dream, and heart's desire? Has soul been weighed,
And wanting found? Do my words lack romance?
Vision does not a future show, to give
Reason for other than more tears. In time,
Heart might some new light find, that dream might live,
Yet can another ever past muse mime?
Does desire for dream make me fool, to care
Unwanted? Are my longings less than real?
Was it too much, to think to starlight share
With one who has given dreams all they feel?
But for desire to always her smile earn,
I might just ask that muse my heart return.
