"Luray High School is desperately in need of being replaced! It is way beyond saving! But that won't happen anytime soon, as the county supervisors have squandered what money there is for new schools and are even considering selling land they ALREADY OWN that was purchased for a consolidated county high school. The Science program is the most appalling -- with no current technological advances in 50 years -- most of the equipment is broken! The 3-story school is un-air-conditioned and stifling.
