Guest 0839am learn to read and research your facts. Lieutenant William Shearer, who joined the BFC, and was their first, and only British officer to accept a position in the unit. Shearer was a schizophrenic and wouldn't put on his BFC uniform or even leave his room, to which end he was removed and sent to the mental asylum from whence he came.
