A tale about Fred concerned an Indian batsman. As Fred began thundering towards the crease for the first ball, the batsman held up his hand to stop play and asked for the sight screens to be moved. They were pushed slightly sideways and Fred once again began his run up. The batsman again held up his hand and asked for the sight screens to be moved back to their original position. The umpire asked, "Where exactly do you want the sight screens to be placed ?" The batsman replied, "Between me and that mad bastard with the ball".
