Joe O'Donnell's folk symphony is being performed live at Warwick Folk Festival on Thursday, 20th July.

This was released as an LP in 1977, and went on to become a cult album. Recently re-issued on CD by Sony/BMG, this is the first time this work has been performed live.

Joe has augmented his normal folk-rock band, Shkayla, with some of the musicians who were on the original album, together with an orchestra drawn from The Birmingham Philharmonic, and Irish and Indian dancers, this will be a real spectacular.

The show is also being filmed and recorded for a documentary to be shown on Irish TV.
