Just for the record (for the umpteenth time) - I was born in the States but later became a Canadian citizen. I was educated to grade 12 in the States. When I attended University in Canada, I had to upgrade to be admitted. The upgrades included history, geography and math. I had to work very hard to compete with Canadian students who had a much better basic education than I was given in the States.

I didn't realize, however, that the norms of IQ tests had to be adjusted because the norms in the States were lower than Canadian norms. In other words, the average Canadian is more intelligent than the average American.
