What wonderfull music to grow up to. I did love there first three records the most. I still sing "Oh lord how happy I am" though I dont drink wiskey anymore. "The first Girl I loved" still hits me hard. They gave us all a sence of intuitive, open music that was about much more then the drug culture.A friend of mine who is a wonderfull fiddle player often remenices with me about the inspiratin these guys brought to our early musical awakening.. Lots of thanks to I.S.B.and thanks Shambles for bringing up the memories!!!.I saw them in Cambridge Mass. with a beautiful blond to week I got back to Boston from Wales, in the sring of 1971.
